Prabhune Maharaj

Spiritual Master, P. P. Shri Narayankaka Dhekane Maharaj bid farewell to the world on 5th November 2012, who was the founder member and the chief trustee of P. P. Shri Loknathtirth Swami Maharaj Mahayoga Trust. He desired that sitting trustee and one of the founder members of the trust, P. P. Shri Prakashrao Prabhune Maharaj be his successor as Chief Trustee. Late November 2012 P. P. Shri Prakashrao Prabhune Maharaj assumed the charge as chief trustee.

P. P. Shri Prakashrao Prabhune Maharaj was born in the city of Aurangabad, Maharashtra State (India) on 24th October 1949. He passed his Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) degree in first division and was a merit scholar in the engineering college. He superannuated on 31st October 2009, as Deputy General Manager from Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd., Aircraft Division, Nashik which manufactures and overhauls MiG series fighters and bombers.

During his employment, he received training in Russia and later in France for upgradation of MiG aircraft. He bagged many awards during his service such as Research and Development Award during National Seminar On Aircraft Upgrade, Engineering Achivement Award by Institute of Engineers, India and so on.

In June 1961, P. P. Shri Narayankaka Dhekane Maharaj, who was a government servant, was transferred to Nashik and P. P. Shri Prabhune Maharaj came in contact with him. P. P. Shri Prabhune Maharaj was initiated into Mahayoga by P. P. Shri Narayankaka Dhekane Maharaj and later declared his as his Spiritual Heir and wished him to continue his mission.

Nourishing a desire that every human being be follower of Mahayoga, P. P. Shri Dhekane Maharaj till his last breath kept propagating Mahayoga. P. P. Shri Prabhune Maharaj, following the footsteps of P. P. Shri Dhekane Maharaj, visited all over India explaining Mahayoga to the aspirants.

Mr. Prakash B. Prabhune retired as Deputy General Manager from Aircraft Upgrade Research and Design Center (AURDC) of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (H.A.L) Aircraft Division Nashik (Ojhar) on 31st October 2009 after 33 years of service. The aircraft division has the responsibility to manufacture and overhaul MIG 21 variants, MIG 27 and SU 30 MKI aircrafts.

Mr. Prabhune was born on 24th October 1949. He completed his schooling from Nashik (M.S). He was awarded with “Middle School Scholarship” during schooling. Mr. Prabhune passed B.E.(Electrical) from Vishweswaraya Regional College of Engineering (VRCE) Nagpur, (now named as VNIT) in the year 1973 in 1st Division & was in receipt of "Merit scholarship" in Engineering college.

After completing his studies he joined VIP industries Satpur, Nashik as Maintenance Engineer and later H.A.L, Nashik, Ojhar on 28th October 1976.

Mr. Prabhune is also deeply interested in Meditation and was blessed with initiation (Deeksha) of Mahayoga (Siddhayoga) path by Param Pujaniya Shri. Narayankaka Dhekane Maharaj, Nashik (M.S) at his young age. After retirement Mr. Prabhune is engaged in Practising and Spreading of Mahayoga (Siddhayoga) at various platforms such as Senior Citizens forum, Social gatherings, Schools, Colleges etc.

Mr. Prabhune believes that Mahayoga (Siddhayoga) way of Meditation will help bringing mental / peace mental equilibrium.

At present Mr. Prabhune is Chief Trustee of Paramhans Parivrajakacharya Shri Loknathtirth Swami Maharaj Mahyoga Trust, Main World center, Nashik, Maharashtra, India.
